Easirent – a national car rental company – are seeking a dynamic new team player to join the successful team at our very busy Liverpool City Centre office.
We are a family-run company established in 1987 and the only car British-owned car rental company based at most major UK airports. Our steady expansion has been built on the excellent service our talented staff give to our customers. We were the first car and van hire company to become established in Wigan, where our roots began and the head office of our exciting brand is in Bootle. The Role:
Easirent are looking for an experienced IOS & Android Application Developer. The post holder will provide innovative ideas to complement our existing solutions and develop new solutions/services and features for our applications to create a global platform.

You will be working as part of a team to develop cutting edge developments to provide users with a quick and simple system. This will involve keeping up to date with the latest industry news, trends and best practices. This will entail:

• Developing innovative applications for IOS, Android, Windows & Mac.
• Improving existing functionality.
• Developing high quality code within specific criteria
• Supporting and maintaining the company’s software products

The Person:

• Be highly computer literate, numerate, analytical and independent
• Have a solid understanding of IOS & Android Applications
• Have fantastic communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels, face to face and on the phone
• Have a smart, professional appearance

o Previous experience as an IOS & Android Application Developer is essential, however training will be provided to enable you to reach your full potential.

o Previous experience in the car rental sector and a passion for cars would be desirable, however this is not essential as full training will be given.
o A clean driving licence held for at least 2 years would be an advantage. We cannot put staff on our insurance to drive if they have more than 6 minor points on their licence, or if they have had a suspension from driving which has not expired at least 3 years ago. If you are 25 years or above, you must have held your driving licence for at least 1 year. If you are 23-24 years, you must have held your driving licence for at least 2 years.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Holidays: 20 days holidays per year plus bank holidays to be taken in lieu

Start Date: ASAP
